Emergency Education

Elevator technicians play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of elevators. Our firefighter training program is designed specifically for these professionals, equipping them with essential skills to respond effectively in emergencies. Participants will learn fire safety protocols, emergency evacuation procedures, and hands-on techniques to manage elevator-related incidents.

Safety Training

Equipping First Responders with a Proactive Mentality

Drawing upon our multidisciplinary staff’s expertise in Elevator Mechanics, Firefighting Science, Psychology, and Higher Education, and as a signatory company of the International Union of Elevator Constructors (IUEC), we have developed the Elevator Emergency Education (EEE) Course.

There is no standardized elevator emergency training available for first responders, and our researchers have found that existing elevator emergency guidance manuals contain logical and tactical flaws that may produce injuries and deaths among first responders and passengers.

Common risks to persons in elevator spaces, as defined by recognized governmental agencies, include—electrocution, falling, or being stricken by or caught in/between machinery and/or structural elements. Given the lack of standardized training, the possibility of one death or injury that could have been potentially avoided through heightened consciousness is haunting and inexcusable.
